LAN AIRLINES - RESERVATIONS and DELAYS NOTIFICATION

LAN Airlines is one of the leading airlines in South America with over 70 airplanes serving over 11 million passengers each year in South America, USA, Europe and Australia.  On-time arrivals and departures are essential to keep the airplane running efficiently and keeping passengers happy.  Delays not only make the company loss money but keeps passengers in the airports longer and stressed out.

In addition, LAN is flying its planes with over 86% of its seats full on average. However, some customers holding reservations end up not purchasing their tickets; leaving others without a chance to purchase seats.

To solve these problems, LAN decided to use CelCompra’s Vericel product for Passenger Delay Notifcation and Reservation Time Limit to improve the customer satisfaction and increase the sales of tickets.

FALABELLA - MOBILE PAYMENTS

Falabella, the biggest retail in Latin America, is using the CelCompra Mobile Payments Platform with 5.7 million credit cards in Chile and Latin America since 2007.

The initial strategy introduced to customers was to:

  • pay for their utility bills online(water, gas, electricity, cable TV, urban expressways and other 40 service companies),
  • recharge public transportation Bip! card (Transantiago) and
  • the use in a chain of affiliated businesses. 

Falabella wants customers to pay with the Falabella CMR credit card throughout Latin America by creating new niches market for the credit card and trusts of the CelCompra Mobile Payments platform for this opportunity.
